President John Kufuor returned to Accra Saturday night from Rome, Italy, after attending the first annual general meeting of Executive Board of the World Food Programme (WFP). 

Briefing newsmen at the airport, press secretary to the president, Andrew Awuni said the annual general meeting coincided with the global launch of a fund to assist school feeding schemes in developing countries. 

President Kufuor shared with the meeting, Ghana’s achievement and experience in the school feeding programme over the years. 

President Kufuor later joined the Mayor of Milan and the FIFA World Footballer of the year, Kaka of Brazil, to launch campaign dubbed ‘fill the cup’ in support of WFPs School Feeding Programme.
