Kaka trained for the first time with the Brazilian squad on Tuesday as the five-time world champions prepared for the World Cup finals, which run from June 11 to July 11 in South Africa.
The 28-year-old - the 2007 world and European footballer of the year - had been suffering from a left groin injury which forced him to miss out on Tuesday morning's training session.
The appearance by Kaka - whose maiden season with Real Madrid ended in disappointment with no trophies in the cabinet - allays fears that he might be a doubt for the opening Group G match on June 15 against North Korea.
On Wednesday the Brazil squad - who finished top of the South American qualifying group - will travel to Brasilia where they will meet the country's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva before flying to Johannesburg.
They are due to play two friendlies on June 2 and June 7 against Tanzania and Zimbabwe respectively.
Aside from North Korea the Brazilians will also face 2006 semi-finalists Portugal and African giants Ivory Coast in the group labelled 'The Group of Death'.
